Matrimony began as a duo in 2009. With Ashlee’s Americana-rock influences and Jimmy’s Irish-folk roots, Matrimony blends modern anti-folk and indie rock in their debut EP “The Storm & The Eye” produced by Bright City Studios and self-released to critical acclaim. Credits after the break.

John Mark McMillan kicked off the 2011 Raucous Tour in the Queen City’s Visulite Theatre where he played to a sold out crowd. We were witness to the event and came away with this promotional clip. John Mark is bringing the Raucous to the West coast this summer.
This past weekend we witnessed one of the bigger storms in recent Carolina history (243 tornadoes were confirmed by the NOAA in the South East alone). We captured this time-lapse a little after one in the morning as the behemoth rode out to sea.
It’s not often we get to expose our dabblings with music composition, so it was a treat when we were asked to submit an original track for a new series of TED videos. Each video represents a different topic of socioeconomic discussion. Relevant conversations that were started at this year’s TEDactive conference in Palm Springs, CA. Thank you Eliot Rausch for the opportunity.
Watch (and listen) to the videos here.
This year we submitted and won a Telly award for How He Loves: Story with John Mark McMillan.
